A message from Marlow regarding Remembrance Sunday
Our fixtures sec has managed to squeeze 9 home junior games in on Sunday, so we need to start bang on time (and pray no game goes to shoot outs) so that the 4 matches after ours end on time. We should have the pitch for 15 mins warmup, and there is plenty of space outside the pitch for team talks, runs and physical warmups.
The bad news is that Marlow High street will be closed for the Remembrance Sunday parade and memorial service, and it will be more difficult to get to the club. Anyone trying to come in through Bisham (obvious way to do it from M4) is going to get stuck. Coming from the M4 or M40, once you get on the A404 take the A4155 turn off for Marlow and drive into town that way.
Keep going straight ahead through the town centre, past the high street (on the left)
Just out of the town centre drive past Platts garage on the right.
At the Hand and Flowers (about 200 yards further on) turn left onto Westwood Road.
At the T junction, go right onto Harwood road.
Follow Harwood Road for about 500 yards, taking the first left onto Penwood Lane.
At the end of Penwood lane, turn left onto Pound Lane.
Marlow sports club is about 100 yards on the right.
Parking should be fine at the club, but if not then retrace your steps on Pound Lane / Penwood lane.
