At the end of Training parents / carers must make appropriate arrangements for the prompt
collection of the children with a back-up in the event of a problem. Club coaches and helpers
often have matches or other events which may be compromised if they must stay and
supervise a child left behind.

Age Groups
In Line with the England Hockey Board Junior Competitions Framework the qualifying date is
for them to be under the age on 31st August for each age group in Juniors, i.e., it is based on
school year. For the 2024/25 Season:
U8- Years 2 & 3, Born 1st September 2016 to 31st August 2018
U10 - Years 4 & 5, Born 1st September 2014 to 31st August 2016
U12 - Years 6 & 7, Born 1st September 2012 to 31st August 2014
U14 - Years 8 & 9, Born 1st September 2010 to 31st August 2012
U16 - Years 10 & 11, Born 1st September 2008 to 31st August 2010
U18 - Years 12 & 13, Born 1st September 2006 to 31 August 2008

Annual subscription
U8s, U10s, U12s £110 1st child; £100 2nd, 3rd, 4th child - No Tournament or Match Fees
U14s, U16s, U18s £90 1st child; £80 2nd, 3rd, 4th child - Match fees £7.00/match

Prospective new members may attend two trial training sessions.

It is a requirement for all Junior members (defined as Under 18 on 1st September 2024) to be
registered via their parents. Registered information for both parents and children must be complete, and up to date, because your coaches will use this registered information to contact parents in case of an emergency, and to put children forward to County opportunities.
