Award
An award where the recipient does not pay Club Subscriptions for the remainder they are a club member. The Club currently has 4 Lifetime Members.

Who
It is planned this award will be offered every 4 or 5 years. The award will only be presented if it is agreed there is a worthy recipient, if not at this point the next award could be the following year rather than another 4 or 5 years.

Due to the financial benefit, kudos and rarity of the award the recipient will naturally be an exemplary Club member who have excelled in many areas within the Club.

Although there aren’t any actual requirements to achieve, to receive the award it is expected the nominees to be of high standing and consistently put the Club first over a number of years.

How
It was suggested every 4 or 5 years for this award, any club member can be nominated by a fellow club member detailing reasons why.

Nominations are to be sent to the Chair/Sec in February where a sub-committee of Chair, V Chair, Sec, Men Club Capt and Ladies Club Capt will decide who receives the award. This will be presented to the Committee in Mar/Apr with reasons why the recipient should receive the award. All other nominees can be viewed by the Committee for clarity and the Committee ratify the award.

The winner will be awarded Life Membership at the End of Season Event.
